I was in Aix en Provence for a conference last June, and I took this photograph there. Aix is a city filled with fountains and trees; it is such a beautiful place! While I was walking passed one of the fountains on the Cours Mirabeau I saw this leaf floating on the surface, with its shadow underneath it. I really like how the edging of the leaf shadow is shining like a silver lining.
