Thursday Thirteen – Birthday Nostalgia

Probably because of my birthday, which is today, I’m in a reminiscent frame of mind. I was born on the 7th November 1978, and so consequently many of the songs which I associate with my childhood are from the 80s and 90s, so I’ve decided that this is going to be the focus for this week’s TT. I’ve trawled YouTube this morning (and had an absolute ball while doing so!) to bring you 12 of my favourite songs from that era, plus the Beatles singing “Birthday”, as that clip made me laugh out loud, and I couldn’t miss it out! So, without further ado, here’s my top 13 music videos guaranteed to inspire nostalgia for the time when leg-warmers, synthesisers and deelie-boppers were the order of the day. Enjoy!
